Why we’re using cookies

FkdPanda places cookies on your computer to store and then retrieve small bits of information when you return. This is to ensure that our content is tailored to your specifications, thereby improving the visitor experience of the site.

Amongst other things, the cookies we use allow visitors to sign up to the site and let us calculate (anonymously) how many visitors the website has. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. By continuing to visit the website, you agree to the placement of cookies on your device. If you choose not to accept our cookies, we cannot guarantee that your experience will be as fulfilling as it would otherwise be. We may also place cookies from third parties for functional and marketing purposes. The use of cookies is widespread and benefits those who utilize the benefits of the Internet.

Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

What are cookies

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either "persistent" cookies or "session" cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

FkdPanda uses both “mandatory” and “non-mandatory” cookies. Mandatory cookies are strictly necessary to provide FkdPanda services you want to access and non-mandatory cookies are cookies that are not absolutely necessary for FkdPanda to provide you the services required, such as cookies used to analyze your behavior on a website (‘analytical’ cookies) or cookies used to display advertisements to you (‘advertising’ cookies). Non-mandatory cookies which involve processing of your personal data are only placed on your computer or device if you have consented to us doing so. Non-mandatory cookies include those used by Google Analytics to analyze the use of our website. Google's privacy policy is available at: The relevant cookies of this kind are: _ga and_gid

We also classify cookies as first-party or third-party cookies. Here, a first-party cookie refers to a cookie we created for FkdPanda and third party cookies is a cookie placed on your device by a FkdPanda business partner or other third party.

Managing cookies

Most web browsers come with first-party cookies enabled. Why? Because the alternative can be frustrating for some users. If you were to disable first-party cookies, a website could not keep track of your activity as you move from page to page. For example, you would be unable to purchase multiple items online in the same transaction. Each time you added something to the cart from another page on the site, it would be treated as a new order.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and to delete cookies. The methods for doing so vary from browser to browser, and from version to version. You can, however, obtain up-to-date information about blocking and deleting cookies via these links:

Blocking all cookies will have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites. We at FkdPanda believe that your visitor experience would be adversely affected if you opt out of the cookies we use.
